Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last message. The largest event in the last 24 hours was an M1.2 flare at 9:40 UT today(3/13) from NOAA 14384 approaching the Northwest limb. The trailing portion of this region underwent further significant flux emergence to grow the new sunspot to a comparable size with its original leading sunspot. Three low-to-mid C class flares were also reported from this region in the last 12 hours, while yesterday's target, NOAA 14393 only produced two low-C class flares since the last message.
Today, we will switch our target to NOAA 14384, expecting additional C to M class events during its Northwest limb transit.
The position of the target in NOAA 14384 on 13-March-2026 at 16:00 UT is: N09W72 (905", 195").
