MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2866 has significantly decayed especially within its trailing portion. There is weak mixed polarities located in the region's intermediate area. 2866 was only able to produce a couple of minor B-class events since the last message. New flux is emerging in the northern portion of NOAA 2868 (S20W43). 2868 produced two C1 events in the past 24 hours. The primary target will continue to be 2866 for at least today but, if possible, include 2868 within your FOV. C-class events possible with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2866 on September 11 at 14:00 UT is: S17W26 (Solar X = 401", Solar Y = -381")
