Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at very low levels despite the rapid emergence of a new active region in the north east quadrant (NOAA 12082). The target region NOAA 12080 continues to develop and is now classified as a beta-gamma region. There is some negative polarity flux encroaching into the penumbra of the positive leader spot that may result in increased activity over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12080 on 6-Jun-2014 at 07:35 UT is:
S13E27, ( -419", -212" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
