MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2733 has decayed significantly especially within its intermediate and trailing sunspots. 2733 is now displaying a C-type sunspot group with a beta magnetic configuration. The largest x-ray event since the last message was a B1.1 at 01/28/01:04 UT. A- and B-class events are possible with only a slight chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 period.
The C5.0 event that 2733 produced on 01/26/2019 at 13:22 UT was the largest event since the C8.1 event produced by NOAA 2699 on February 7, 2018.
The position of NOAA 2733 on January 28 at 14:30 UT is: N05W57 (Solar X = 815", Solar Y = 137")
