Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level, with the GOES 1-8 flux mostly flat at ~C1. The largest event since the last message was a C3.1 flare from the target NOAA 14405 (beta-gamma/E-type) at 11:48 UT yesterday. Today, the Major Flare Watch remains focused on NOAA 14405, particularly the northern part of the main trailing sunspot, where flux emergence is evident. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of an isolated >M5 flare within the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14405 on 31-Mar-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
S27E25 (-362",-345")
