Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at intermediate levels since the last message. There has been a resurgence of C-level activity from former target region NOAA 13169, as well as an M1.2 flare at 16:15 UT yesterday, as it nears the western limb. There have also been occulted events from behind the eastern limb in both hemispheres. The target region NOAA 13176 has been largely quiescent but retains a sunspot area of 400 uH and a beta/D-type configuration. Chance for further C-level events from NOAA 13176 over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13176 on 28-Dec-2022 at 12:30 UT is:
N19E43, ( -630", 348" )
