Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar flare activity is low. NOAA region 11138 has continued to decay in area coverage and numbers of spots, producing a C1.3 flare on 31-Dec-2010 at 04:18 UT in the process. This region is now a simple alpha magnetic classification. B-class activity is probable, with a small chance for another minor event.
The position of NOAA 11138 on 31-Dec-2010 at 11:00 UT is:
N12W61, ( 837", 226" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
