Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. Target region NOAA 13654 grew in sunspot area but maintained its number of spots to continuing to be classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. NOAA 13654 appears to show signs of developing a magnetic delta configuration in its intermediate spots. This region has produced many C-class flares and the only M-class flare in the period - an M3.0 on 27-Apr-2024 at 21:29 UT. Additional C-class flares are expected over the following 24-hour period, with a good chance for another low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 13654 on 28-Apr-2024 at 19:30 UT is:
S08W35 , ( 542", -73" )
