Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has diminished over the last 24 hours. NOAA 12887 and NOAA 12891 have continued to produce low C-level activity. NOAA 12887 retains its beta-gamma configuration but has decayed significantly. It shall remain the target region for a further 24 hours although we are ending the Major Flare Watch at this time. Additional intermediate level activity is expected.
The position of NOAA 12887 on 31-Oct-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
S28W40, ( 549", -504" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
