Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a background level and the visible solar disk remains spotless. The target plage region NOAA 12716 shows some EUV brightenings that appear to accompany an emerged positive flux in the leading spots with a negative polarity. Quiet-Sun conditions should continue over the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12716 on July 26 at 15:40 UT is: N16W60 (787", 217")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
