MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at an extremely low level. Target region NOAA 2743 has decayed significantly within its trailing polarity portion. The target will switch to the northeastern limb where there is some minor bright H-alpha limb surges most likely associated with the return of old NOAA 2740. No significant solar events expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on June 26 at 06:30 UT is: N05E89 (Solar X = -940", Solar Y = 082")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
