Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to a low-M level since the last message. The largest event was an M1.6 flare at 19:49 UT yesterday from an unnumbered region near the northeast limb. This region also produced an M1.1 and nine low-C flares. To the south of this limb region, NOAA 14232 (alpha/H-type, N02E71) and NOAA 14226 (beta/C-type, S10W14) also produced an M1.1 flare at 07:03 UT today and an M1.0 flare at 03:29 UT today, respectively. Today, the target should switch to the limb region, because of its high productivity. Yesterday’s target, NOAA 14217, has almost rotated out of Earth-view. Further C-class activity is expected with more low-M flare possible within the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on 27-Sep-2025 at 11:30 UT is:
N19E71 (-850", 170")
