Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to an intermediate level since the last message. The largest event was an M1.0 flare at 00:11 UT today (11/13), produced by the target region NOAA 13889 (S09W07). This region retains a beta- gamma-delta magnetic configuration and produced another eight C-class flares in the period. The Major Flare Watch will remain effective with NOAA 13889 for the next 24 hours, due to its magnetic complexity and increasing activity. Please note that NOAA 13879, which recently rotated beyond the west limb, produced a C8.3 flare at 12:36 UT yesterday (11/12). Additional C-class activity is expected, with a chance of an isolated >M5 flare in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 13889 on 13-Nov-2024 at 08:30 UT is:
S09W07 (117",-202")
