Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a very low level. The largest event over the past 24 hours was a C1.9 flare at 05:34 UT today from NOAA 14307 (S14W89). 14307 was also the source of another two ~C1 flares plus two high B-class flares. This region is rotating over the west limb. The limb target region has been designated as NOAA 14312 with an Alpha/H-type configuration. It only produced a B9.4 flare during the period. Today we continue to watch this region as it still has the highest current helicity compared with the other regions on the visible disk. C-class activities are expected in the following 24 hours.
The approximate position of NOAA 14312 on December 19 at 10:00 UT is: N18E55 (-750", 320")
