MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low. The current visible solar disk is spotless. A small portion of the target filament disappeared in the past 24 hours. The target will switch to a region located mostly beyond the northeastern limb. This region was the source of a limb occulted minor B1.5 event at 07/23/07:35 UT. Additional B-class activity is possible in the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on July 23 at 14:45 UT is: N05E90 (Solar X = -941", Solar Y = 082")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
