Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Yesterday's target region at the North East limb has not yet rotated onto the visible disk to be assigned a number by NOAA. This region has produced many C-class flares since yesterday's email and an M3.4 flare on 21-Aug-2014 at 13:19 UT. This region is strong in 3MK Ca XV emission (as reported by NSO Sacramento Peak), indicating the potential for major flares. At this point we are *not* initiating an MM#003 Major Flare Watch as the magnetic complexity of the region is unknown, but this will continue to be monitored. Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a good chance for more M-class activity.
The approximate position of this region on 21-Aug-2014 at 17:30 UT is:
N11E90, ( -930", 180" )
