Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message. There were numerous B- and low C-class flares produced by two unnumbered regions, one near the east limb (S23E64) and the other rotating to the west limb (S27W41). The former region produced the largest event of the period, a C3.6 at 08/25/09:53 UT. Today the target will switch to this region, which seems to be emerging with new magnetic fluxes. Yesterday's region NOAA 13085 has been flare quiet, though it still has a beta/D-type sunspot group. Further C-class activities are expected from the above two unnumbered regions in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on August 25 at 11:30 UT is:
S23E64 (-800", -400")
