Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. Target region NOAA 13311 has grown in size since the last message and has been reclassified as a beta-gamma-delta/F-type spot group. This region continues to be the most flare productive active region, generating multiple C-class flares and an M1.0 on 24-May-2023 at 09:51 UT that was the largest magnitude flare in the period. The MM#003 Major Flare Watch on NOAA 13311 will remain in effect for at least a further 24 hours. More low M-class flares are probable over the following 24-hour period, with a chance for another >M5 flare.
The position of NOAA 13311 on 24-May-2023 at 15:30 UT is:
N18W04 , ( 63", 319" )
