Dear Collaborators,
Solar X-ray background flux is at the low C-level as NOAA 13519 is now fully behind the southwest limb. Activity has been mostly low but an M2.9 flare is currently in progress from NOAA 13529 in the southwest quadrant. The region is a large bipolar region with an area of 420uh. NOAA 13529 shall be the new target region with low-to-intermediate level activity possible over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13529 on 24-Dec-2023 at 08:30 UT is:
S20W17, ( 269", -303" )
