Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity persists at a low level. Several low C-class events were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being a C3.4 from NOAA 14153 at 12:12 UT today. NOAA 14167 has developed significantly over the last 24 hours, now classified as a beta-gamma type region and showing promising sunspot dynamism. The target region will switch to NOAA 14167 for the next 24 hours, further C-class activity is expected with a very slight chance for a low M-class event.
The approximate position of NOAA 14167 on 01-August-2025 at 11:30 UT is
N09W14, (223", 56") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
