MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Deep solar minimum conditions continue. The visible solar disk is spotless and plageless. Most of the eastern portion of the target filament located in the southern polar zone disappeared during the past 24 hour period. Portions of the filament may continue to disappear in the next 24 hours.
The position of the center of the filament on Nov. 23 at 08:30 UT is: S48W30 (Solar X = 326", Solar Y = -742")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
