Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Target region NOAA 12965 has grown slightly since the last message, but it remains classified as a beta/E-type sunspot group. NOAA 12965 produced several C-class flares, while decaying NOAA 12964 also produced several C-class flares and the largest flare of the period - an M2.2 on 12-Mar-2022 at 22:13 UT. NOAA 12964 is currently approaching the South West limb, but it becomes the target region for the next 24 hours. More C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a small chance for another M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12964 on 12-Mar-2022 at 22:30 UT is:
S28W80 , ( 840", -431" )
