Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been low since the last message. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C8.6 flare at 22:21 UT yesterday (12/22) produced by the target region, NOAA 14317, which also produced 3 low-C class flares during the period. All these events were started from the South side of its following (negative polarity) sunspot. Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14317, but the target area will shift eastward to the following sunspot, expecting additional C class events.
The position of the target in NOAA 14317 on 23-December-2025 at 17:00 UT is: N10E41 (-637", 197").
