Solar activity has increased to a moderate-to-high level. The largest event in the period was an M5.0 flare at 18:31 UT yesterday produced by NOAA 13777 (S09W13, beta-gamma-delta/E-type). 13777 was also the source of another three low M-class flares in the period. Additionally, a South East limb region (S11E88) and NOAA 13781 (N13E29, beta-delta/D-type) also produced three low M-class flares. Target region 13780 (S09E20) produced only six C-class flares in the period, with a slight decrease in sunspot area (now 1110 uh) and an increase in number of spots. 13780 has remained a beta-gamma-delta configuration and high current helicity since the last message. 13780 continues to undergo a significant flux emergence across the entire active region. Today, the Major Flare Watch shall remain in effect with NOAA 13780, with a focus on its leading spots. Further M-class activity is expected, with a good chance of >M5 flares from various regions in the following 24-48 hours.
