The target region on the northeast limb has produced an X5 flare at 21:36 UT today. As such we are implementing a Major Flare Watch at this time. Chance for additional >M5 flares over the next 24-48 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 31-Dec-2023 at 20:30 UT is:
N04E79, ( -957", 77" )
