Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at low levels. Yesterday's target region NOAA 12305 (S10W87) has remained flare quiet since the last message, and is rotating over the limb. At this time, we switch the target region to NOAA 12317, which appeared just yesterday and has developed rapidly to a D-type/beta configuration. Low C-class activity is likely over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12317 on April 2 at 11:35 UT is:
N10W39 (Solar X = 596", Solar Y = 249")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
