Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at an extremely low level with the GOES soft X-ray flux flat at ~A6. Spotless conditions continue. Yesterday's target filament remains weak. Today the target will switch to a tiny new flux emerging region in the northwest quadrant. No flaring activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on June 23 at 17:00 UT is:
N03W14 (220", 30")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
