Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level. NOAA 14167 produced a number of flares in the last 24 hours, the largest being a C3.5 at 09:17 UT today. NOAA 14167 has almost quadrupled in size since the last message, but shows a reduction in dynamic sunspot behaviour. This region remains classified as a beta-gamma region and shall continue to be monitored as the target region. Additional C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14167 on 03-August-2025 at 11:30 UT is
N12W45, (665", 128") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
