Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains high in the past 24 hours. The target region NOAA 13296 was the source of two M-class flares (M4.3 at 05/09/18:20 UT and M5.0 at 05/09/20:32 UT), which has increased in magnetic complexity and been classified as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group. This region is continuing to develop and is likely to remain flare productive. 13296 shall remain the target with the Major Flare Watch in effect. Further low-M flares are probable in the next 24-48 hours, with a chance of an above M5 flare.
