Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased over the past 24 hours with an M1.1 flare at 22:35 UT on 22-Aug-2023 produced by NOAA 13405. This region also produced a C7.2 and several low-C flares. It increased in the number of spots and has been classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group. Today the target region will switch to NOAA 13405. Yesterday’s target was numbered as NOAA 13415 (alpha/H-type, S09E67) and was only the source of two low C-class flares. Further C-class activities are expected over the following 24-hour period, with a chance for an additional low M-class flare.
