Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 11598 continues in decay phase, maintaining spot area coverage but decreasing in number of spots. This region is classified by NOAA as a beta-delta/D-type sunspot group. 11598 has a strong polarity inversion line where numerous small negative trailing spots encroach on the leading positive spot penumbra. C-class activity is possible in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 11598 on 28-Oct-2012 at 17:30 UT is:
S11W20, ( 320", -257" )
