Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low-intermediate level. A number of flares were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being an M2.1 from NOAA 13981 at 08:57 UT today. NOAA 13981 is now classified as a beta-delta region as it begins its approach of the northwestern limb. This region shall continue to be monitored. The Major Flare Watch will remain active for now, with NOAA 13981 as the target region. Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for additional M-class activity in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13981 on 08-February-2025 at 12:30 UT is:
N08W49, (728", 206")
