Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to quiescent levels since the last message. A region currently behind the northeast limb was the source of a B2.1 flare at 07:58 UT today that was associated with a coronal mass ejection. The region is visible in STEREO Ahead images but its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time. This shall be the new target region with further low level activity possible as the region rotates into view.
The approximate position of the target region on 11-Jun-2021 at 11:30 UT is:
N24E89, ( -863", 384" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
