Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The largest event since the last message was a C3.1 flare at 13:56 UT yesterday from the target region NOAA 13450 (S19E54, beta/D-type), which has increased in terms of spot area and number of spots and produced another two ~C2 flares in the period. Today the target shall still be this region. Please note that NOAA 13445 (S14W53, beta/D-type) produced five low-C flares in the period, but decreased significantly in number of spots. Additional low C-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 13450 on 29-Sep-2023 at 07:30 UT is:
S19E54 (-733" , -373")
