Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Yesterday's target region NOAA 11777 has increased in spot area, is now classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group, but has been quiet since producing the M2.9 flare on 21-Jun-2013 at 02:30 UT. A new region is located just over the South East limb and was the source of a C2.1 flare on 21-Jun-2013 at 21:00 UT. This region is the return of that previously numbered as NOAA 11762, which produced several M-class events and achieved a maximum magnetic complexity of beta-gamma-delta on its last disk passage. Further C-class events are probable in the next 24 hours, with a small chance for an isolated low M-class event.
The approximate position of this region on 22-Jun-2013 at 13:00 UT is:
S27E90, ( -841", -428" )
