Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has further reduced since the last message. Several flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being a C4.2 from NOAA 14244 at 00:29 UT today. As NOAA 12436 progresses further toward the northwestern limb, the apparent complexity of the region has reduced, however this region, and those in its proximity, still appear to host notable activity. While this region remains in view, it will continue as the target region. Further C-class activity is likely in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14236 on 06-October-2025 at 00:30 UT is
N10W64, (850", 119") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
