Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at a low level. The largest event since the last message was a C1.8 flare at 10:03 UT today from NOAA 14262. This region also produced a C1.0 flare and retains a beta/C-type sunspot group. NOAA 14256 (yesterday’s target) and NOAA 14266 (beta/D-type, N16W04) only produced a B7.9 flare and a B9.2 flare, respectively. Today, the target will switch to NOAA 14262 due to its return to C-class flaring. Additional low-C activity is possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14262 on 27-Oct-2025 at 08:30 UT is:
S12W53 (755", -248")
