MM#003 Major Flare Watch
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The magnetic delta configuration located in the trailing spot in target region NOAA 1719 has decayed somewhat after the M6.5 event yesterday but the region is maintaining its large E-type/beta-gamma-delta sunspot group. Another event =/>M5 is possible in the next few days if 1719 preserves its complex magnetic configuration.
The position of NOAA 1719 on April 12 at 13:00 UT is: N10W08 (Solar X = 131", Solar Y = 260")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
