Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at an extremely low level. The visible solar disk remains spotless. Yesterday's bright point target has decayed. Today we will watch a new emerged region that shows bright EUV emission. No noteworthy activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on February 22 at 07:30 UT is: S27W08 (100", -380")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory)
