MM#009 Default Target
Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C7.5 flare from NOAA 13996 located in the Southeast of the target region NOAA 13998. This region was activated since late yesterday has been producing more than ten C class flares, but now undergoing the limb passage.
From the target region NOAA 13998, only C4.5 event was recorded in the past 24 hours, but frequent brightening is occurring associated with the flares from NOAA 13998. We will continues to observe NOAA 13998 at the region of leading (negative) sunspot for the next 24 hours, expecting additional C class events.
The position of the target in NOAA 13998 on 27-February-2025 at 16:30 UT is: S12W78 (929", -180").
