Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at a moderate-to-low level since the last message. The largest event in the period was an M1.1 flare at 00:18 UT today, produced by the target region NOAA 13947 (N12W14). This region retains a beta-gamma-delta configuration and was the source of another three low C-class flares. NOAA 13947 shall remain the target region today, with further C-class activity expected and a possibility of low M-class flares in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13947 on 9-Jan-2025 at 08:30 UT is:
N12W14 (231",267")
