MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. The only event since the last message was a minor B2.2 produced by target region NOAA 2683. 2683 has tiny opposite polarity satellite pores surrounding its large leader sunspot. No significant solar flare activity expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2683 on October 03 at 15:30 UT is: N13W28 (Solar X = 440", Solar Y = 120")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
