MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The deep solar minimum phase continues with solar activity at an extremely low level. The target will continue to monitor the northeastern limb where there are minor bright H-alpha surges and a small active prominence. No change in the level of solar activity expected anytime soon.
The approximate position of the target on June 27 at 05:45 UT is: N07E89 (Solar X = -936", Solar Y = 114")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
