Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level. The largest flares produced in the last 24 hours were a pair of C1.2 flares from NOAA 13498 at 17:05 UT yesterday and NOAA 14401 at 17:42 UT yesterday, respectively. NOAA 14400 has changed complexity since the last message and is now classified as a beta-delta type region. The region still shows some sunspot dynamism despite the lack of flare production. NOAA 14400 will continue as the target region for now, with a chance for C-class activity in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14400 on 24-March-2026 at 12:30 UT is
S12W47, (690", -121") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
