Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is low although NOAA 11271 and 11272 have produced multiple B class flares between them. Both regions appear to be in the early stages of decay with signs of fragmentation particularly clear in 11271 which has also lost its delta classification. Despite this, 11271 will continue to be todays target as it retains a beta-gamma classification and has three large, bipolar sunspots all of which have strong penumbra. C class activity is possible over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 11271 on 20-Aug-2011 15:30 UT is:
N17E14 ( -217", 171" )
