Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level, but has shown a small increase since yesterday. A number of flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being a C4.7 from NOAA 14155 at 05:57 UT today. NOAA 14155 has shown a slight increase in sunspot dynamism while NOAA 14161 has remained dormant. NOAA 14155 is currently classified as a beta-type region and will be the new target region for the next 24 hours. Additional C-class activity is expected.
The approximate position of NOAA 14155 on 30-July-2025 at 11:30 UT is
S09W14, (229", -150") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
