Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is high. Today's target region (NOAA 11890) has just released a X3.3 flare. The main delta spot shows extensive shearing along its polarity separation line, which now extends along the majority of the spot length. Further high M-class activity is expected, while a further X-class event is possible.
The position of NOAA 11890 on 5-Nov-2013 at 23:00 UT is: S09E36, ( -567", -204" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
