Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low-to-moderate. Target region NOAA 13638 has now rotated completely out of view beyond the South West limb. The most flare-productive region since the last message was NOAA 13654, which has maintained sunspot area and number of spots to continue being classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. NOAA 13654 was the source of several C-class and the only M-class flare in the period (an M2.1 on 27-Apr-2024 at 12:23 UT). Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for a low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 13654 on 27-Apr-2024 at 19:30 UT is:
S08W20 , ( 324", -63" )
