Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at the C-level. NOAA 13530/NOAA 13533 produced a few low level events since the last message as they rotated out of view on the western limb. A new region approaching on the eastern limb was the source of two partially occulted high C-class flares today. The region is not yet numbered and its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time, but it shall be the new target region. Further C-level activity likely with chance for an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 31-Dec-2023 at 08:30 UT is:
N04E89, ( -973", 69" )
