Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA region 11598 continues in decay phase, although only decreasing slightly in spot area coverage and maintaining number of spots. This region remains a beta-delta/D-type sunspot group classification from NOAA, due to the penumbra of one of the small trailing negative spots now touching the penumbra of the large leading positive spot. 11598 has only produced one C-class event since yesterday's message (a C1.1 flare on 26-Oct-2012 at 15:49 UT). Further C-class activity is likely in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 11598 on 27-Oct-2012 at 13:00 UT is:
S12W03, ( 53", -280" )
